Things to do in Denver When You’re Dead may not be Gabrielle Anwar’s first movie, and it may not be sci-fi, but it made me lover her. Only later would I see Body Snatchers and feel a little bit like a dirty old man about watching a teenage Anwar fight aliens (even though she was actually 21 when she filmed it).
She also did a few episodes of John Doe–only two, which is an amazing 10% of the short-lived series. More Anwar might have saved it? Probably not even then.
