Kristen Bell appeared, basically, out of nowhere in the title role on Veronica Mars, and in short order proved she wasn’t just a teeny-bop-show actor by taking on a strong (mostly) role as a young prostitute in the unduly-canceled Deadwood, and then the electricity-manipulating Elle in Heroes season 2, and soon to be a voice in the new Astroboy film. And most importantly… she dressed as Slave-Girl Leia in Fanboys, which will, of course, immortalize her forever as a geek-favorite.
